Forget the fact that I currently live in New York — I'm a Red Sox fan, born and raised. Based on this, you can only imagine my delight upon watching the video series above from New Era. In Rivals Are Forever, John Krasinski and Alec Baldwin go head to head in support of their respective teams. Krasinski (a die-hard Sox fan) and Baldwin (a Yankees fan, natch) prove their comedic chops, not to mention their ability to trash talk with the best of them. If a video like this doesn't make you run right out to buy a hat in support your home team, I'm not sure what will.

I love her 3D depictions of the Big Apple, the taxicab and the Chrysler Building — each replica offers a cityscape view from both the top and the side. And there are more scenes to choose from! What an innovative way to celebrate New York.
I'm back! My dear readers that live in New York, did you survive the heat wave last week? It looks like the humidity is arriving in the city a bit early this year. As a result, I can't stop thinking about the beach! But if I can't go swimming, the photos above are the next best thing. I love photographer Julie Chamton's colorful ocean shots from Egypt (images 1 and 3), not to mention Marc Loyon's photo of San Sebastian in Spain. Talk about serenity now. What's your favorite beach in the world?
One glimpse at this photo and I'm willing to bet we're thinking the same thing: that's one heck of a view! I'm not sure where it was taken, but the lush and rolling hills in combination with the cloud cover make me wish I was there. This week is a busy one for me, so I thought this photo would be the perfect way to ease into it. Unfortunately, as a result of my schedule, I have to take a brief break from my blog. Happy weekend dear readers! This four-day week has flown by. I'm not only thrilled that it's Friday, but also that the weather in New York has had a change of heart — it feels like spring again! What do you have planned for the next couple of days? Matt and I are considering going to Coney Island for the first time. Have you ever been? Although there are seven Tree rooms available to stay in, my favorite has to be the Mirrorcube. Accessible by rope bridge only, the exterior is all mirrors, designed to create a perfect reflection of your surroundings so you can just blend in.

When it comes to magazines, are you more likely to save or toss an issue after you finish reading it? Natali over at Narrylikes raised this question last week and it got me thinking. I'm definitely a girl that likes to hold onto copies of magazines I've read. Why? I love the thought that one day I'll frame each one and get to see the design and style changes that took place over the years. That said, my New York-sized apartment is forcing me to be a bit more selective about the issues I keep!
It seems there is one other way to save the magazine covers I love — knit a replica of each one! At least that's what Inge Jacobsen decided to do with her favorite issues of Vogue. Pretty clever idea, no? I'm so impressed by the detail of her work!
