Ernest & Celestine

Now that winter is here, I'm back in my video rental groove. Thanks to our local video store, I stumbled upon the sweetest animated film called Ernest & Celestine. If you haven't seen it, you should rent it now. It's about a mouse named Celestine and a bear named Ernest—unlikely friends until an accidental brush with the law where they have to rely on each other to get by. Beautifully animated in watercolor, this Belgian film is available in both French and English (voices for the English version include Forest Whitaker, Lauren Bacall, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman). A total delight!
