Hostess Gift Idea: Party horns bouquet

For a holiday party this past weekend, my friend and I were shopping for the perfect hostess gift. We brought a bottle of wine (of course), but we wanted to bring something extra special—and festive! After popping into my favorite neighborhood card shop, we stumbled upon the cutest idea: a party horns bouquet. I know—party horns. Not super original! But the "bouquet" presentation is what makes this gift stand out. In lieu of flowers, it's a ready-to-use party prop (see photo evidence above) and I loved handing it to the host the same way I would an actual floral bouquet.

Have you stumbled upon any festive hostess gift ideas this year? Do tell!

Edible bouquets

Have you ever thought about putting together an edible bouquet? After seeing the gorgeous photography by Kim Lightbody for Cereal Magazine, I think it's such a clever idea! I especially love the cherry tomatoes, still on the vine. Another thought would be to do a summer arrangement of rainbow chard

What do you think? As a hostess gift, I think this is a fun update to a traditional idea.

More edible bouquets here (including one with artichokes!).

City-themed wine totes

I love these city-themed wine totes from Maptote — don't you? What a great way to bring a piece of home with you to the next party you attend. Totes are available for several different regions including Napa, Sonoma, Manhattan, and LA, and there are loads of different color options, too. What a chic and clever hostess gift to have on hand!
