A perfect game
This bowling-themed wedding is — pun intended — right up my dad's alley! How clever are the invites? And the retro duckpins? Growing up in Massachusetts, candlepin bowling was (and still is) my family's thing, but in Connecticut, duckpin is the bowling style of choice. It really is the perfect reception idea. Besides, who wouldn't love a little friendly competition after 'I do'?

This is the neighborhood where I grew up! And where my parents still live. That's the "Buttonwoods Casino" where we went in the summer to bowl, do arts and crafts and eat penny candy. Hilarious! I've never seen it look so gorgeous! I've always thought about an Old Buttonwoods wedding... hmmmmm... just need to find a groom.
