The art of organization

Do you consider yourself to be an organized person? I definitely tend to be more organized than not — I feel better going to sleep when things have been properly prepped and arranged for the day ahead, as crazy as that may sound! This may be why I love the images above. Quite an interesting take on organization and creating a method to the madness. :)

The art of conversation

How much time do you spend on the phone each day? According to Pamela Paul of the New York Times, not much. In a recent article, she points out an interesting cultural shift: that phone conversations are a thing of the past.

But remember the excitement and joy that only came when the phone would ring? You would wait by the phone all night, terrified you would miss a call from your best friend or the boy of your dreams!

I've always been a phone talker — certainly in my personal life, but often times in business too. I look forward to phone dates with friends and have no problem camping on the phone for an hour or two during a relaxing evening at home. Do you agree with Pamela? Do you cringe when a voicemail pops up? Or do you look forward to daily chats with friends? Let me know your thoughts — I'd love to hear what you think!

Cover Star(s)

I always look forward to the start of each month when a fresh batch of magazine covers arrive on newsstands. February 2010 is no exception — there are quite a few that I can’t wait to get my hands on.

From the timely and relevant…

To the downright bizarre.

From the old/new Hollywood glamour…

To the fashionably elegant.
Two words: Happy Reading!
