Um, are you guys as excited as I am that Prince William and his lovely lady Kate Middleton are here in New York this week? Better yet, they're in Brooklyn! (They have great taste, obvi.)
Funny story: I tried to get tickets to the Nets/Cavaliers game they're planning to attend tonight. Here's how the email exchange went down with Matt.
Me: OMG, can we pretty please do everything within our power to get tickets to the December 8th Brooklyn Nets game? Kate and William are going to be there!!
Matt: Tickets are $200+. For nosebleeds.
Me: Because Kate and William are going to be there????
Matt: No. Because LeBron James is going to be there.
Oops. I may know a lot about the Royal Family, but basketball is just not my sport. ;)

I'm so happy that Kate Middleton is feeling better—and even happier to see her out and about in three new (and stunning) looks. That Alexander McQueen coat! That Jenny Packham gown! That Temperley London LBD! She looks amazing and healthy, too.
Out of everything she wore this past week, I think my favorite is actually those L.K. Bennett shoes. So pretty, right?
Can't wait to see more of her second pregnancy style.

Happy July 1st, my darling readers! I always look at this weekend as the official kick-off to summer. The 4th of July weekend happens to be my favorite holiday, too. There's nothing better than leisurely BBQs, sunshine, and enjoying it all with family and friends. Here are a few things I'm excited about this month:
• Picnics in the park, and dining al fresco
• Beach days—and sunscreen
• Sipping rosé
• Fireworks (so pumped that they're moving back to the East River this year!)
• Prince George turning 1!

Have you been following William and Kate's Royal Tour in Australia over the past two weeks? Such fun! From Kate's clothes to Baby George's sweet smiles (and adorable hair), it was so fun to see daily pics and updates from their trip.
What did you think of the outfits Kate wore? I think my favorite was the bright yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress she was in when she stepped off the plane in Sydney, almost two weeks ago. But she looks stunning always, right?!

Princess Kate! In sequins! Did you see these pics of Kate Middleton at the Tusk Gala last week? I love her Jenny Packham dress. Hard to believe it's only been about eight weeks since she gave birth to Prince George. She looks stunning.

At last, the Great Kate Wait is over! Such exciting news to welcome the Royal Baby and the future King of England to the world. Did you follow all the coverage yesterday? Kate and William both looked so genuinely happy when introducing their son on the steps outside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London. What a joyful moment in time—and one that was so exciting to watch.
I'm looking forward to hearing more news about the Royal couple's first few weeks at home with their adorable baby boy.
Hard to believe it all started here! Funny enough, my friend Shalah now shares her birthday with the Royal Prince.

Like the rest of the world, I'm on pins and needles waiting for news of the Royal Baby to hit. It's such an exciting occasion! My mom keeps reminding me of how she spent the whole time she was pregnant with me watching Diana, and waiting to hear news that Prince William was born.
There's something so lovely about the tradition of it all and the fact that Kate and William will introduce their baby standing on the same hospital steps where Charles and Diana did 31 years ago.

Can you believe that the Kate Middleton is due to give birth in just about a month? Wow, the days since she first announced her pregnancy have flown by. And news broke this week that Pippa Middleton is in charge of planning a Royal Baby Shower for Kate. What fun!
I'm so enjoying counting down the days until this baby arrives. It makes me want to plan another royal get-together, like this one from two years ago when we celebrated Kate and Wills' wedding day. :)

Much like the rest of the world, I was so excited to see Kate Middleton finally reveal her baby bump this week at her first public appearance since her vacation last week with William. How stylish is her Max Mara wrap dress? This kicks off a few weeks of public appearances for the princess, and I, for one, can't wait to follow her every step. Perhaps this is because I have babies on the brain: Both my best friend and my cousin gave birth to their almost-born-during-Nemo babies in the last 7 days, and I am over the moon!

Such happy news for a Monday: A glimpse at Kate Middleton's first public appearance since her horrible bout with morning sickness earlier this month. And lucky her, it's to do something fun—like present the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year Awards. Kate looked radiant in her green Alexander McQueen gown. So excited for her and Wills and all that is ahead!

Where's a hair elastic when you need one? :) I love these shots of Kate and William taken this week on the balcony of Cambridge Guildhall in Cambridgeshire, England. A toast to the Queen! It looks like it was such a magical weekend celebrating the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant along the Thames. I love the pomp and circumstance of it all, not to mention Kate's gorgeous Alexander McQueen ensemble.

Such grace, and poise! With these pics, I think Kate Middleton has officially set a new standard for how to make the perfect entrance. Stepping out of her town car en route to an Olympic Gala Concert in London, Kate looked stunning in her teal Jenny Packham dress. I love that you can see her sparkly Jimmy Choos from the moment her foot touches the ground. I give her credit — not only is she elegant, she's coordinated, too!

For those of you that live state-side and can't cross the pond to see Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen wedding dress on display, there's another way to get your Royal Wedding fix. Starting in September and running through mid-January, Foxwoods will host the traveling exhibition, "Diana: A Celebration." The pièce de résistance on display? Diana's stunning gown — designed by Elizabeth Emanuel — from the day she wed Charles in 1981. As a long-time fan of the Royals, a trip to see this exhibit is definitely on my to-do list for fall. The first series of sketches are in for the royal wedding! Several of the world's most fashionable designers are dreaming up ideas for Kate Middleton's wedding gown.
