I'm always in the mood for crafting, but I've been feeling particularly inspired over the last few weeks. Maybe it's because I saw this awesome (could be DIY!) hostess idea, but it may also be the fact that I love Mindy Kaling's Wreath Witherspoon idea. Hilarious!
On the hunt for another clever celebrity-themed Christmas project? Check out this Ryan Gosling wrapping paper! I mean, who wouldn't want to open a gift covered in that?!

See Diane Keaton play
I adore Diane Keaton. Adore her. The images above —taken by celebrity photographer Rufan Afanador — perfectly capture her spirit, her energy, her sense of fun. Now that I've seen them, I want to mimic her mood and kick off my shoes, twirl and laugh. It's a great reminder to find time for joy, even if you're in the middle of a crazy busy week! :)

Seems like old times
I was so excited this weekend to unwrap an early Christmas gift from Matt! He got me an autographed copy of "Then Again" by Diane Keaton, a book I can't wait to read. Most intriguing? This memoir is as much about Diane as it is about her mom. It's also filled with lots of interesting tidbits, including details about her love affairs with leading men such as Woody Allen, Al Pacino, and more. But through it all — the acting, the style, the romance — Diane's biggest strength was never losing sight of her dreams:
''Could I have made a lasting commitment to
them? Hard to say. Subconsciously I must have known it could never work,
and because of this they'd never get in the way of my achieving my
dreams.''
What do you think? Is this a book you'll read?

Two of a kind
I'm in love with every single one of the gorgeous photos found on The Glow, a site that offers a glimpse into the worlds of inspiring and fashionable moms. The prints above feature moms including — from top to bottom — Jeanann Williams, Lauren Moffatt, Ramya Giangola, and Meredith Kahn. Each shot is so playful and sweet! Do you have a favorite childhood moment that you shared with your mom? Were you lucky enough to catch it on film? :)

Crazy Stupid Love
I'm counting the days until the Friday release of the movie above: Crazy, Stupid, Love starring Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. The cast itself is fantastic, but the story looks equally good. Also, I loved seeing Liza Lapira in the previews — I interviewed her several years back when she was in 21 and think she is so talented! What do you think — will you watch this film?
