What a treat to escape to Miami last week! As I mentioned, the trip was in honor of my 'friend'-iversary with my best friend. It was our first celebration of the occasion, even though we've known each other for over six years. It felt so special to start a tradition like this — in a warm place no less! So as the temperatures dip way below freezing in New York, I thought I'd share a few snaps of the place we stayed. Between the Exhale spa on site and the close proximity to South Beach, the EPIC Hotel offered the perfect winter reprieve. Don't you wish you were there right now?
Such pretty snow scenes from the city that never sleeps! I love how even the pace of New York City slows down with the weather. On that note, I'm off to Miami for a four day weekend to toast my 'friend'-iversary with my BFF. It's a Glamour magazine-inspired idea: last April, in their friendship issue, they suggested setting aside time to celebrate your friendships, just like you would with any important relationship in your life.
