Weekend Update: Governor's Island
As I mentioned Friday, Matt and I took the ferry out to Governor's Island to have a mini-picnic, get some sun, and kick back. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was a breezy 80 degrees — the perfect day to rent bikes and explore. :) My favorite part of "Picnic Point" (the official name for the park on the island) is the variety of red hammocks sprinkled throughout. You can literally put your feet up and relax!
Have you been to Governor's Island before? What did you do while you were there?
Beautiful photos! I've never been to Governor's Island, but it's on my list of places to visit this summer. Now I'm even more excited to check it out. Those hammocks have sold me! :)
